Fighting cancer through research, education, and advocacy.

Established in 2002, Georgia CORE was created to bridge the gap between cutting-edge cancer research and the communities that need it most. We bring together researchers, healthcare providers, advocates, and community partners to improve cancer prevention, treatment, and survivorship across Georgia.

Northside Hospital Cancer Institute is proud to be a partner of Georgia CORE. Together, we are working to ensure that every Georgian, regardless of geography or income, has access to the latest advancements in cancer care.

Did you hear? We're putting weird looking stools all over bars and coffee shops to get Georgians talking about WEIRD LOOKING STOOLS. WHY? COLON CANCER. It's growing at an alarming rate in younger people. It kills more Georgians than almost any other cancer. By 2030, it will be the #1 cancer killer of people under 50.
